Bryan Ha, Membership Director


Bryan Ha, Membership Director

Bryan Ha joined FACCC in May 2009. As Membership Director, Bryan is responsible for designing and implementing FACCC’s recruitment and retention efforts. Bryan is also responsible for communicating complex legislative concepts into understandable language, and engaging faculty members in legislative/political mobilization.

As a former student body president of California State University, Los Angeles (CSULA), Bryan has particular interest in higher education policy. Most importantly, he is extremely passionate about membership development and political action. After graduating from CSULA with a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice, Bryan was selected into the California State Senate Fellowship program in 2001. Since then, he worked in Sacramento on various legislative projects that range from developing public policies to building grassroots coalitions.

Prior to joining FACCC, Bryan worked for the American Heart Association as their Director of Grassroots Advocacy. Subsequently, he served as Legislative Consultant to State Senator Jack Scott where he staffed the California Joint Committee on the Arts. Bryan grew up in Los Angeles and now resides in Carmichael with his wife (Annette), their newborn son (Aiden), and their two dogs.
