Speakers:
This year we are honored to have State Controller John Chiang as our keynote speaker for Sunday. As Controller, Chiang has moved swiftly to ensure California is on the road to prosperity while meeting its obligations to workers and retirees. Upon assuming office, Chiang immediately hired an independent actuary to determine – ahead of schedule – the costs of post-employment benefits as the first step in crafting California’s long-term plan to meet the State’s commitments.
On Monday, we are honored to have Addam Probolsky, chairman and CEO of Probolsky Research. A regular contributor to print and broadcast outlets, Probolsky will be sharing his insights on the upcoming gubernatorial elections. In addition, FACCC intends to bring forward a bipartisan collection of policymakers, analysts and consultants who know Sacramento from the “inside,” to help you be a strong and effective advocate. Prior FACCC conferences have featured such notables as Assembly Speaker Fabian Nuñez, Sacramento Bee columnist Dan Walters, and System Chancellors Tom Nussbaum, Mark Drummond and Jack Scott.
Featuring the following legislators:
Anthony Portantino (D-Pasadena)
Fiona Ma (D-San Francisco)
Marty Block (D-San Diego)
Paul Fong (D-Mountain View)
