FACCC Web Internship

Position Description:

FACCC is a private, nonprofit association that lobbies solely for all California Community College faculty.

FACCC offers a three-month (or semester-long), unpaid Web design internship for students who plan to pursue a career in journalism, new media or graphic design.

Intern duties will include creating graphics and helping develop and maintain www.faccc.org. FACCC encourages interns to offer suggestions and ideas. The intern will report to the communications director and work at FACCC 15 to 20 hours per week.

Deadline: until filled

Desired Qualifications:

Knowledge of HTML and/or Dreamweaver. FACCC prefers applicants who have taken courses in computer science, Web design or graphic design.

Objectives:

The Web intern will gain working knowledge of maintaining a professional Web site by posting updated information to www.faccc.org and assisting with the overall organization, design and content of the site.
