Richard Ross

Richard Ross is the owner and founder of Ross Communications, a Sacramento-based political strategy, campaign management and government relations firm.

Ross has more than 35 years experience and has managed 415 winning election campaigns at every level of local, state and federal government as well as ballot measures.

Ross managed the campaigns electing California Lieutenant Governor Cruz Bustamante, Attorney General Bill Lockyer, and Assembly Speaker Fabian Nunez.

Ross’ record on ballot propositions includes the passage of California’s historic Proposition 98, establishing a minimum floor for school funding; Proposition 61, the Children’s Hospital Bond; and measures on growth, transportation, worker safety, water and schools.

Ross is widely recognized as one of California's most effective governmental advocates. His firm was named "Best Grassroots Lobbying Firm” in California for their work on behalf of farm workers.
