MEDIA ADVISORY: FACCC Available for Comment on Federal Accreditation Hearing

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Leaders of the Faculty Association of California Community Colleges, a principal voice on community college issues, will be available for comment following the U.S. Department of Education’s National Advisory Committee on Institutional Quality and Integrity (NACIQI) hearing on December 16.

NACIQI will be reviewing the federal recognition status of the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges, the California Community College system’s current accrediting body. FACCC Executive Director Jonathan Lightman is listed to testify at the hearing.
