FACCC Statement on Misleading Charter Schools Mailer
SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The Faculty Association of California Community Colleges has issued the following statement in response to a misleading political mail piece received by voters in Assembly District 43:
The Parent Teacher Alliance and California Charter School Association Advocates did not have permission to use FACCC’s likeness in their recent independent expenditure mailer on behalf of Laura Friedman for Assembly. FACCC does not support the promotion of charter schools and was not aware of the production of this piece.
FACCC’s Political Action Committee issued a dual endorsement for both Laura Friedman and Ardy Kassakhian in the Assembly District 43 race. A full list of FACCC PAC endorsements can be found at www.faccc.org.
