Faculty Association of California Community Colleges Education Institute is proud to present its second Annual Counselors Conference, providing counselors with tools to better serve their students.
The Equity Minded Counselors Conference focuses on the role counselors play in the student equity initiative and provides information on best practices and strategies aimed at improving outcomes for all students regardless of race, ethnicity, or socio-economic background.
The event will feature student equity best practices and up to date information on issues affecting the counseling profession.
Keynote Speaker: Dr. Daryl M. Rowe
Dr. Rowe is a licensed psychologist and Professor of Psychology – teaching in both the doctoral and master’s programs in clinical psychology – at the Graduate School of Education and Psychology of Pepperdine University. He received his undergraduate degree from Hampton Institute in psychology and completed his Masters and doctoral degrees in counseling psychology from The Ohio State University.
