|Author:||Assembly Member Kevin Mullin|
|Topic:||Part Time Faculty Reemployment Rights|
|Committee or Floor:||Senate Floor|
|Sponsor:||Coalition Bill (FACCC, CFT, CTA, CPFA, CWA)|
|Year:||2012 - 2013|
|Description:||FACCC has long supported reemployment preferences for part-time faculty. The need is ever more apparent during tough economic times when part-time faculty are losing their assignments. AB 852 requires districts to fully negotiate reappointment rights for part-time faculty in the collective bargaining process.|
