FACCCTS Takes the GOLD in 2006 MarCom Creative Awards Competition

 

The Fall 06 issue of FACCCTS, featuring news and information highlighting the topic of Immigrant Students and California's Community Colleges, has been awarded the Gold Award in this year's MarCom Creative Awards competition.

The mission of MarCom Creative Awards is to honor excellence, and recognize the creativity and hard work of marketing and communication professionals. Oftentimes, the success of a marketing or communication program is difficult to measure in terms of return on investment, so the MarCom Creative Awards gives winners the opportunity to show that their work is highly regarded within the creative industry. Winning a MarCom Creative Award gives recognition to the creative talent, firms, departments and/or clients that collaborate on outstanding marketing and communications projects.


There were over 5,000 entries from throughout the United States and several foreign countries in this year's competition.

The Gold Award is presented to those entries judged to exceed the high standards of the industry. Approximately 16 percent of the entries received this award.

FACCCTS is a quarterly journal whose readers are comprised of community college instructors, counselors and librarians, as well as state legislators and other higher education leaders, including every college president, trustee and purchasing directors. FACCCTS offers news, analysis, essays, articles, and more - written and edited by your peers!
