FACCC RESPONDS TO GOVERNOR'S BUDGET RELEASE
FACCC President Dennis Smith released the following statement in response to the governor’s budget:“FACCC is encouraged by the proposed funding increase to community colleges, and is especially grateful for meeting the statutory share of Proposition 98 funding. Nonetheless, FACCC cannot rest until fundamental faculty priorities are funded. FACCC will aggressively lobby for new full-time faculty positions, part-time faculty equity, part-time faculty health insurance and office hours, and faculty and staff development.”
