Speaker Bio
Deborah Shanks
Deborah has been a music instructor at Diablo Valley College (DVC) since 1986 and Foothill College since 2004. She served eight years on the DVC Faculty Senate, and is currently completing her term with the United Faculty Association.
In 2002, she was named FACCC Part-time Faculty Member of the Year, and is currently co-chair of the FACCC Part-time Committee and liaison to CPFA. She teaches music (guitar and online music appreciation) and is a member of the Music Association of California Community College (MACCC).
