The development of the SSTARS (Student Success Transfer and Retention Services) program at El Camino College represented a coming together of student service activities and programs designed to enhance student success and retention.  The SSTARS program is a way of connecting classroom instruction with student services.  To the extent teaching faculty are aware of the range and depth of services outside the classroom they are more likely to support the program and make appropriate referrals.  TAKE ACTION!! The panel discussion will include information, ideas, and strategies essential to student success.
