Professional Development

FACCC's professional development is built by and for California community college faculty — colleagues who teach the same students and work under the same constraints you do. Two gatherings anchor the year; everything else is on the calendar below.

Great Teachers Seminar

A distraction-free summer retreat with no keynote speakers and no outside experts — participants set the agenda around the teaching problems they actually have. Two sessions each summer, in San Diego and at Asilomar.
