Community college faculty are very fortunate to have one of the best retirement plans in our nation. CALSTRS has done a good job administering our faculty retirement program. I ask for your support to continue FACCC's support for the excellent work CALSTRS does to maintain, expand, and defend our retirement plans. I have been active in FACCC as a member of the Board of Governors, Treasurer, Vice President, President-elect, President and Past President of FACCC, and a current member of the FACCC Retirement Committee. I will work diligently to promote the excellence of CALSTRS and defend against efforts to reduce or eliminate retirement benefits for all community college faculty, full-time or part-time.
