Wendy Brill-Wynkoop is a passionate educator and advocate with over three decades of experience in the California Community College system. As a professor of Photography and Digital Media at College of the Canyons since 1997, Wendy has demonstrated a deep commitment to student success, equity, and academic excellence.

In addition to her teaching role, Wendy has held numerous leadership positions in faculty organizations and statewide committees. She currently serves as the past president of the Faculty Association of California Community Colleges (FACCC), where she has been a driving force in advancing the interests of faculty and students across the state. Prior to her presidency, Wendy served as the Chair of the FACCC Legislative & Advocacy Committee, working tirelessly to analyze legislation, develop advocacy strategies, and promote policies that support the mission of California's community colleges.

Wendy's expertise in educational policy and advocacy extends beyond FACCC. She has served on the California Teachers Association (CTA) State Legislation Committee and the Community College Association (CCA) Legislative and Advocacy Committee, bringing her insights and passion to these influential organizations. Additionally, Wendy has been a member of the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges (ASCCC) Educational Policy Committee and the ASCCC Noncredit, Pre-Transfer, & Continuing Education Committee, contributing to the development of statewide policies and initiatives.

Throughout her career, Wendy has been a vocal advocate for equity, access, and affordability in higher education. She has authored several publications on topics such as academic freedom, noncredit instruction, and enrollment management, sharing her expertise with the wider education community. Wendy's commitment to these issues is rooted in her belief that education is a transformative force that can create opportunities and change lives.

As a leader in the California Community College system, Wendy is dedicated to collaborating with faculty, students, administrators, and policymakers to create a more just, equitable, and accessible system of higher education. Her tireless efforts and unwavering commitment to this mission make her an invaluable asset to FACCC and the entire California Community College community.
